Novo Demo were contracted earlier in 2017 by Downer to undertake the removal of the Bolton Street footbridge which is the last footbridge on the heritage listed Newcastle train line. The successful removal involved the use of cranes and large mobile plant to safely lower, correctly process then transport and dispose of the spans at local recyclers.

Novo Demo are experts in small to large factory demolitions including masonry or steel frame structures.

In collaboration with the site project team, our team safely removes structures, cuts out, undertakes site remediation and prepares sites for subsequent works. Our experience is gained all along the East Coast of Australia and inland.

You can’t afford to take changes with asbestos removal. Our team and contractors have extensive experience in safely removing bonded and friable asbestos, including Super Six roof sheeting, for domestic and industrial customers. We treat every job, from a bathroom or kitchen through to factory sheeting, with the safety standards required by WHS regulations and the NSW Code of Practice.

Through contract with Hansen Yuncken we’ve stripped out old electrical depots and cleared old houses ready for Energy Australia’s new site facilities.

For more than 8 years, Williams River Steel has contracted Novo Demo as a primary demolition service provider to undertake large scale commercial motor dealership projects, both locally and throughout the state. Some of these have included, Newcastle Toyota at Hamilton and Pennent Hills Nissan as well as numerous commercial factories in the Hunter.

Our part in GPT’s Charlestown Square, Newcastle, refurbishment was under Bovis-Lendlease’s strip out and refit of Myers’ two level shopping area.
